From Yogis in India and Taoists in China to Zen Buddhism and Silicon Valley the term zen has carried an implied meaning of transcending to an awakened awareness. Realization of creative flow is Zen Process.

Welcome Alumni,

The Web Show combines a group of paintings and music. The paintings are from a series called "Portraits Of Place." This group of art is called Campus Portraits Of Yale. There is a book of the same name. Other projects in the Portraits Of Place series include, Manhattan, Mystic Seaport, Woodstock, and many other places in my travels.

The music is from Mod. Symph. #3. In addition to composing the music, I am also the preforming musician. I created all the voices on the electronic keyboard and computer. Pro Tools is the computer environment where I recorded and mixed the composition. Synthesized and sampled accompaniment is often "The Band" I work with. In 1969 as part of a cross-pollination program, I took a music corse with Prof. Timothy Thimic. My music started in childhood and has influenced my view of art as extending beyond the visual boundaries.
